FAQ

Transit time depends on the type of service (sea freight, road freight, or LCL), cargo type, and operational schedule. For the Iran–Oman route, the average delivery time is 8 to 14 days. For other routes, the exact time is provided after reviewing the cargo and origin.

Do you provide household moving and personal effects shipping between Iran and Oman?

Yes. ICIT Logistics handles household goods and personal effects shipping in both directions—Iran to Oman and Oman to Iran. Cargo is received at our warehouses (Tehran and Muscat), inspected, labeled, documents are prepared, and after shipping, the cargo is cleared and delivered to the customer’s desired location.

All documents—including the commercial invoice, packing list, HS Code classification, customs forms, and other required paperwork—are prepared by the ICIT team, except for items that require special permits (e.g., food products, medical-related items, or industrial equipment).

Certain goods are prohibited or require permits based on customs regulations in Oman and the GCC region, such as:

  • Specific flammable materials
  • Certain types of batteries
  • Restricted customs items
  • Goods requiring health or ministerial clearance

Shipping rates are calculated based on weight, volume, cargo type, value, route, and service category. Due to differences between shipments, pricing is handled by the sales team and communicated clearly and transparently.

Yes. Customers may insure their cargo through any trusted insurance provider. Insurance is optional, and ICIT Logistics can offer initial guidance or referral upon request.

Simply send the cargo type, estimated weight and volume, origin, destination, and the desired service (sea, road, LCL, or household moving) to the ICIT sales team. You can request a quote through the website’s “Request a Quote” form, WhatsApp, or phone call. After reviewing the details, the estimated cost and shipping options will be provided.
